Inside the chamber, alternating layers of low- and high-density filter media trap debris particles while also providing an optimal environment for beneficial bacteria to thrive. For effortless maintenance, the AllClear G2 is equipped with a convenient backflush feature. When it's time to clean the filter, simply remove the backflush cap, turn the dial to "clean," and lift the easy-clean handle to compress the filter media. This action forces out accumulated debris, fish waste, and contaminants, flushing them out through the waste outlet for easy disposal or use as fertilizer.
