Microbe-Lift PL Pond Bacteria and Water Garden Cleaner, Safe for Koi, Plants, and Decor, 1 Gallon

Specially formulated to work in water garden ponds, Microbe-Lift bacteria is a 100% natural, safe, and beneficial solution that will not harm fish or plants. With a 3-5 year shelf life, this product reduces ammonia and nitrogen levels, mitigating noxious odors caused by algae, fish waste, rotting leaves, and other debris. It also helps to eliminate the larvae of water-breeding insects like flies and mosquitoes, creating a healthier pond environment that promotes faster fish growth.

Microbe-Lift/PL Bacteria effectively breaks down existing algae and reduces new algae blooms, while also improving dissolved oxygen levels and dissolving away organic sludge and slime. To use, simply pour the product into the pond, following the application rates outlined on the bottle. The initial treatment requires a larger amount, followed by four weekly treatments using a lesser amount, and then a monthly maintenance program thereafter.

KEEPS PONDS CLEAN & CLEAR: Specially formulated to accelerate the removal of all organic waste matter, Microbe-Lift PL's unique blend increases the rate of organic breakdown and improves filter efficiency in decorative fish and koi ponds.

REDUCES CLEANING FREQUENCY: PL seeds and maintains biological filters that break down dead algae, dissolve organic sludge, and reduce muck from bird droppings, fish feed, and dead leaves. Its denitrifying features also reduce the frequency of pond maintenance.

WATER CLARIFIER: PL treatment clears cloudy water in ponds and lagoons by promoting flocculation and settling of organic and inorganic particles. Note that you may see a buildup on one side of the bottle, so be sure to shake it well before adding to your pond.

SWEETER SMELLS: PL creates an appealing water feature by lessening odors caused by dead algae, fish waste, and urine. It acts to control hydrogen sulfide, which creates strong, offensive odors, and it reduces ammonia nitrogen levels to clean the pond.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Effective over a wide range of pH conditions, Microbe-Lift PL maintains its cleaning activity even in water temperatures under 55°F or 12°C.
